Completed his Diploma in Dermatology from the same college, KMC Mangalore, MAHE University and was fortunate to have trained under doyens of dermatology like Prof. Ganesh S Pai, in December 2003 with First Class. He received his Diploma in Cosmetology from Annamalai University, Chidambaram.

Providing Hands-on training for Post Graduates and Doctors in Dermatology and Plastic Surgery. Trainees come from India & abroad. It comprises a mandatory training period of 2-3weeks. Conducted by Dr.Avitus John at S.P.Derma Center along with daily classes. An average of 30-35 doctors are trained every year. Doctors also come from SriLanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Malaysia, Canada, Zambia and Iraq. More than 250 doctors until 2020 have completed training.
